PAIR OF CASSOLETTES
Vases with the shape of a two-handled amphora. The handles are dragon-shaped, the vases body is decorated at the top and at the middle with leafy motifs and festoons respectively.
Cupid and Psyche are depicted in relief in the center, portrayed alternatively in the two vases while demanding each other’s silence. The vase’s foot rests on a convex base embellished in the center by a frieze with garlands framed by spirals and palmettes.
