CENTER CONSOLE

sculpted, engraved, partially gilded and lacquered wood, peach-blossom marble top

Sizable table characterized by a countered, built-in peach-blossom marble top. The under-desktop, edged by a leaf-motif frame in the upper section and by a pearly frame in the lower one, is animated by gilded plant volutes on lacquered background, centered by a slightly jutting element with a rosette enclosed by triglyphs. The rosette is repeated on the sides within a square, from which the ribbed truncated-conical legs with Corinthian capitals branch off, terminating in a foliated tuft.
