PAIR OF MIRROR
carved and gilded wood
Pair of large carved and gilded wooden frames, with lanceolate leaf rebate, recurring on a band richly decorated with a plant motif, followed by a broad plain groove.
The groove runs along a profile of large, open leaves that turn outwards to create movement. Secured in the centre by knots, the leaves go all the way to the corners where they come together in bands.
