gilt painted wood
The monumental structure of this 18th century portal is made of finely carved, gilded wood. The two ring-shaped columns are sculpted and feature high-reliefs with grapevines and golden bunches of grapes. The trabation is embellished with polychrome floral decorations in Renaissance style and lays on Corinthian capitals terminating in a circular base. The upper frame is characterized by an indented motif.
