CONSOLE TABLE
carved and gilt wood; top in Siena broccatello marble
This lavish table consists of an intense and exuberant juxtaposition of phytomorphic motifs and volutes, in a style that at this point approaches the Rocaille style. The moulded legs are united by crosspieces that meet in the centre, which is decorated by a curled leaf motif.
