CENTER TABLE
wood veneered with different types of wood and ivory inlays
With its sober architectural severity, this piece of furniture is an example of the Louis XIV style, softened by phytomorphic decorations. On the top and on the crosspiece the plant volutes decorations surround the floral vase placed in the center. Candid auburn flowers and birds pecking at the branches liven up the composition. Upside down cross pyramidal legs joined together by a crosspiece, flat onion-shaped feet.
