Silvered copper plate finely chiselled featuring the ‘School of Athens’, the renowned scene portrayed by Raphael. The busts of Polyxena, Zenobia, Sappho and Lucretia can be identified on the external sides, corresponding to the cardinal points. Eight figures of women playing musical instruments can be also recognized.
