CONSOLE TABLE
carved and sculpted gilded wood, wooden top painted in faux marble
This important piece of furniture has a sinuous front characterized by a rich wood panel sculpted with volutes and centered by a female head. The table’s legs, richly decorated by spirals and feral protomes with gaping jaws, are jointed by sinuous cross-vaulted beams which meet in the center in a tapered pinnacle.
