SECRETARY DESK
walnut veneer with inlaid strips in various wood species
This desk with folding top is a typical example of the Neoclassical style. Entirely veneered, the desk, which stands on legs in the form of overturned truncated pyramids, is decorated by rigorous geometric panels, with central rosettes on the front. The folding top conceals a room with six drawers and a space for letters above, subdivided by partitions.
