PAIR OF STANDS
white marble and gilt bronze
Elegant pair of white marble and mercury gilded bronze stands.
The shallow circular basins are finely moulded with a frame of lanceolate leaves and beads. In the centre of the dishes is a bronze floral medallion.
The marble shaft is decorated with smooth bronze edging at the top and bottom and rests on a stepped quadrangular base. The first band is finely chased with beads and leaves.
