Elegant pair of burnished bronze candelabras with two sinuous winged Victories. The female figures stand on green marble bases decorated with gilt bronze columns, recalling caryatids. The Victories hold two torches and have three cornucopia-shaped lights above their heads, terminating in griffin’s heads and a curl. The candelabra is topped by a gilt bronze owl, symbolising clairvoyance and wisdom.
