PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS WITH ARMS
carved and gilt wood, base painted to resemble marble
These large five-armed candlesticks feature a vertical body enriched by phytomorphic elements that terminate in a stylized palmette motif from which the arms supporting the five bobeches depart. Large leafy scrolls on the sides develop mirrorwise, and are concluded by rosette motifs.
