This elegant pair of columns, with a classical appeal, is characterised by a shaft with twisted grooves, the lower part of which is sculpted with plant motifs, gyrals of flowers and leaves and embellished with birds and putti. The columns stand on moulded bases and culminate in Corinthian capitals.
