The main characteristics that set them apart from other types of rugs are their bright colors, thickness, and the silkiness of the wool from which they are made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hand-knotted in wool, our rug features a white cotton edging and an intense indigo border that encloses a crimson red field, decorated with a variety of floral sprigs: lotus flowers, peonies, chrysanthemums, and plum blossoms branch out delicately in the composition, symbolizing the four seasons.
